Johnny the Cyberhog is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who's carefree, streetwise, and is always thinking positive. He loves to kick back and relax, play video games, take a stroll around Mobafornia City, and hang out with his friends. Oh, and his favorite food is pizza.

He's been a resident of Uncle Shaggy's Boarding House for the last 8 years, and he likes to call it home. ...No, seriously, he can't think of any other place to call home. Unfortunately, the poor guy is suffering from amnesia. He took a nasty bonk to the head shortly after arriving in Mobafornia City. Uncle Shaggy the Echidna found him and took him in. Johnny's been living in the Boarding House ever since.

Johnny's cybernetic arm allows him great strength along with plenty of utensils at his disposal, such as an arm cannon (he calls it the Cyber-Buster), a grappling hook, and even a garden hose! Every birthday, which is one of the very few things he can still remember, he gets his arm upgraded so it stays up to date (and to keep it from being shorter than his real arm). No one knows how he got it or how long he's had it, but judging that he's so used to it he must have had it for a very long time.

Johnny is friends with Teen Angela, Clyde the Raccon, Pearl the Squirrel, and Uncle Shaggy the Echidna.

Johnny is not related to any of the Sonic characters.
